The Redmi Note 17 Pro series has officially launched in India, expanding Xiaomi's latest Note lineup with two new smartphones: the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The new models join the recently introduced Redmi Note 17 and bring major upgrades in battery capacity, performance, display, cameras, and charging.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max stands out with a massive 10,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro packs a 9,000mAh battery with 67W charging. Both smartphones feature AMOLED displays, dual rear cameras, 5G connectivity, and IP-rated protection against dust and water.
Redmi Note 17 Pro, Note 17 Pro Max Price in India and Availability
The Redmi Note 17 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 36,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The higher 8GB + 256GB configuration is priced at Rs. 39,999.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max starts at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The top-end 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs. 55,999.
The company is offering an instant discount of up to Rs. 5,000 on select SBI, Axis Bank, and IDFC First Bank cards. Customers can also get up to Rs. 5,000 cashback through HDB Financial Services.The Redmi Note 17 Pro will go on sale in India from September 17, while the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max will be available from September 23 via Amazon.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is available in Matcha Green, Secret Sunrise, and Stealth Black colour options. The Redmi Note 17 Pro comes in Cloud Blue, Purple Vibe, and Stealth Black shades.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 16-based HyperOS 3. Xiaomi has promised four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device.

The panel supports 12-bit colour depth, up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, a 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage. The smartphone carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings, offering enhanced protection against dust and water.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
