OnePlus N6 Lite India Launch Date Confirmed: 7,000mAh Battery, 120Hz Display and More

OnePlus has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming budget smartphone, the OnePlus N6 Lite. The new handset will be the third model in the N6 series, following the OnePlus N6 and OnePlus N6x.

The N6 Lite is also expected to become OnePlus’ most affordable smartphone yet, potentially making it an interesting option for buyers looking for a budget phone with a large battery.

OnePlus N6 Lite India Launch Date

The OnePlus N6 Lite will launch in India on September 22. The smartphone will be available through OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Stores, and select retail outlets across the country.

OnePlus is expected to reveal the phone's price, sale date, launch offers, and availability details during the launch event.

OnePlus N6 Lite Specifications and Features

The biggest highlight of the OnePlus N6 Lite is its 7,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims that the battery can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.

The company says the phone can offer up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation, and 49.7 hours of phone calls. The handset will also support wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge compatible devices using the phone.

OnePlus claims that the battery is designed to retain more than 80 percent of its health even after six years, which could make long-term battery durability one of the phone's key selling points.

6.75-inch 120Hz Display

The OnePlus N6 Lite will feature a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will have rounded edges, while the phone will weigh around 215 grams and measure 8.95mm in thickness.

The smartphone will be offered in Midnight Hype and Neo Green colour options.

For durability, the N6 Lite will feature MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. OnePlus is also promising 36-Month Fluency Protection, covering aspects such as display performance, durability, and everyday usage.

AI Features and Software

The OnePlus N6 Lite will also come with AI-powered features, including AI Clear Face and AI Eraser. The smartphone is expected to run OxygenOS 16 out of the box, although OnePlus is yet to confirm the complete software specifications.

OnePlus N6 Lite Price in India: What to Expect

OnePlus has not revealed the official price of the N6 Lite yet. However, the company is positioning it as a highly affordable smartphone, and it is expected to be priced below the OnePlus N6x, which currently starts at Rs. 20,999.

If the N6 Lite launches below that price point, it could become OnePlus' most affordable smartphone and compete strongly in India's budget smartphone segment.
