The Redmi Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3500 nits of peak brightness. This 12-bit panel comes with Dolby Vision, 68.7 billion colors, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display.
The smartphone measures 8.1mm thick and features a glass back panel with a metal chassis. LED ring lights surround the rear camera module, which can be customized in eight different colors. Additionally, the phone is rated IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, making it dust, water, and high-pressure spray resistant.
Powerful performance and gaming features
The Redmi Turbo 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset based on a 4nm process, with a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. The smartphone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X and LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. UFS 3.1 support is provided for storage.
The phone runs on HyperOS 3, and the company promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. For gaming, it features a large 5300mm² thermal cooling system and supports 120FPS in over 20 games. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support are provided for audio. Features like Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, and IR Blaster are also available.
Camera Setup
For photography, the Redmi Turbo 5 features a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 20MP front camera.
The camera system supports 4K 60FPS video recording with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization).
Battery and Charging
The smartphone packs a large 7540mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that it takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to fully charge the phone.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is priced at ₹35,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model will be available for ₹38,999.
The smartphone will be available for sale starting June 19 via Amazon, Xiaomi India's official website, and offline retail stores.
