Tipster Digital Chat Station has reportedly shared details about the OnePlus 16 on Weibo. According to the leak, the smartphone could pack a 9,000mAh battery, which would be a significant increase over the 7,300mAh battery found on the OnePlus 15.If this information is accurate, the OnePlus 16 could have one of the largest battery capacities among flagship smartphones. The handset is also expected to use an energy-efficient chip developed by Oppo that could support low-voltage discharge, potentially helping improve battery efficiency.

85Hz Display Could Be a Major Upgrade

The OnePlus 16 is tipped to feature a display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. This would represent an upgrade over the OnePlus 15, which features a 165Hz AMOLED panel.Previous reports have suggested that the upcoming smartphone could feature a 6.78-inch custom BOE Oriental Screen 4.0 display.
