Oppo Teases New Smartphone in India, Could It Be the Rumoured F35 Pro?

 

Oppo appears to be preparing to launch a new smartphone in India. The company has started teasing an upcoming handset, but its official name and launch date are yet to be revealed.The teaser provides a glimpse of the phone's rear design and camera module, while Oppo has not disclosed any specifications or other key details. The upcoming device could potentially be the rumoured Oppo F35 Pro, although the company has not confirmed its identity.

Oppo Teases Upcoming Smartphone

Oppo's latest teaser focuses primarily on the design of the upcoming smartphone. The rear panel and camera module are visible in the teaser, but details such as the display, processor, cameras, battery capacity and pricing remain unknown.The teaser comes around a month after reports suggested that Oppo could be preparing to introduce the F35 series in India. The lineup is expected to include a Pro model, although Oppo has yet to officially confirm the F35 series or its launch timeline.If the teased handset turns out to be the Oppo F35 Pro, it could share specifications with the Oppo A7 Pro Max, which was recently introduced in China.

Oppo A7 Pro Max Specifications

The Oppo A7 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For photography, the A7 Pro Max features a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the handset gets a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

One of the phone's major highlights is its large 10,000mAh battery, which supports 80W wired fast charging.

Oppo F35 Pro Expected Specifications and Price

A previous report has further fuelled speculation that the Oppo F35 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Oppo A7 Pro Max. According to the report, the alleged F35 Pro could feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and a 10,000mAh battery, similar to the China-exclusive A7 Pro Max.

However, Oppo has not officially confirmed whether the upcoming teased handset is the F35 Pro, so these specifications should be treated as rumours for now.The alleged Oppo F35 Pro's India price is also yet to be revealed. Previous reports have suggested that the smartphone could be priced between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000 in India.More details about the handset, including its official name, specifications, price and launch date, are expected to emerge closer to the launch.
