Lenovo Legion 5i, 5a and LOQ 15AHP11 Launched in India: Specs, Features

Lenovo has refreshed its gaming laptop lineup in India with the launch of the new Legion 5i, Legion 5a and LOQ 15AHP11. The latest models bring upgraded hardware aimed at gamers and power users, including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, newer Intel Core Ultra processors and AMD Ryzen 200 series chips.

The new Legion 5 models sit at the entry point of Lenovo’s premium gaming lineup, while the LOQ 15AHP11 continues to target gamers looking for a more affordable option without compromising too much on performance.

Lenovo’s latest launch comes as the company continues to expand its gaming portfolio in India. The Legion 10 series arrived in 2025, while the company recently introduced new LOQ Essentials models in August 2026.

Lenovo Legion 5i, Legion 5a and LOQ 15AHP11: Price and availability

Lenovo has not positioned these new gaming laptops as budget devices, with higher-end components contributing to their pricing. The company says the ongoing memory shortage has also affected its gaming laptop portfolio, with DDR5 memory prices reportedly rising significantly compared with 2025.

For comparison, the Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 with an AMD Ryzen 250 processor, 16GB RAM and an RTX 5060 GPU was available for around Rs. 1,30,000 in May 2026.

The new Legion 5i, Legion 5a and LOQ 15AHP11 will be available through Lenovo.com, Lenovo exclusive stores and select retail outlets across India.

Lenovo is also offering custom-to-order configurations, allowing buyers to select specifications based on their requirements. Custom configurations are expected to take around 15–20 days to arrive.

Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 11: Features and specifications

The new Legion 5 Gen 11 lineup includes two models: the Legion 5i and Legion 5a. The biggest difference between the two is the processor platform, while much of the remaining hardware is shared.Both laptops feature a 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED display with a 2560x1600-pixel resolution, 165Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio.The OLED panel should offer deeper blacks, higher contrast and more vibrant colours compared with conventional LCD panels. The 2560x1600 resolution also provides additional screen space, which can be useful for gaming, productivity and creative workloads.

The Legion 5i and Legion 5a support up to 32GB of 5,600MT/s DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The combination of faster memory and high-speed storage is designed to improve multitasking and reduce loading times for games and applications.

Both models also pack an 80Wh battery and feature Legion Coldfront: Hyper cooling to help manage temperatures during demanding gaming sessions.

Legion 5i specifications

The Legion 5i is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor. It also includes Lenovo’s LA1 and LA3 AI Core chips, which are designed to assist with AI-related and performance-management workloads.

For graphics, the Legion 5i comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU, making it the more straightforward choice for users who want a higher-end configuration.

The Legion 5a switches to an AMD platform and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor.It features the LA1 AI Core and can be configured with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 laptop GPU.This gives buyers more flexibility when choosing between performance and overall system cost.

The Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 is aimed at the mid-range gaming laptop segment and offers several specifications similar to the Legion 5 models.The laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor and can be configured with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 laptop GPU.The LOQ 15AHP11 features a 15.3-inch WQXGA IPS display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 180Hz.The high refresh rate should make fast-paced games such as shooters and racing titles appear smoother, while the WQXGA resolution offers sharper visuals than a traditional Full HD panel.The laptop supports up to 32GB of 5,600MT/s DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. These configurations should provide enough headroom for gaming, multitasking and demanding applications.

For thermal management, Lenovo has equipped the LOQ 15AHP11 with its Hyperchamber cooling system.The laptop packs a 60Wh battery with support for Rapid Charge Pro. It weighs around 2.1kg, making it reasonably portable for a gaming machine, although it remains heavier than the Legion 5 models.

The three new Lenovo gaming laptops target different types of buyers. The Legion 5i is aimed at users who prefer Intel hardware and want an RTX 5060 GPU, while the Legion 5a offers AMD processing with RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 options.

The LOQ 15AHP11, meanwhile, is positioned as the more affordable alternative and combines an AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor with RTX 50 Series graphics.

The Legion 5 models also stand out with their 15.3-inch OLED display and 80Wh battery, while the LOQ 15AHP11 uses an IPS panel and a smaller 60Wh battery but offers a faster 180Hz refresh rate.
