iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max Delivery Dates Slip Into October in India and US

 

Apple has started seeing strong demand for its latest Pro models, with delivery estimates for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max already slipping in several markets. While the first pre-order customers are expected to receive their handsets on September 18, those placing orders now may have to wait until late September or October.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its ‘Surprise and Shine’ event last week. Pre-orders opened shortly after the launch, while the company has confirmed that both models will officially go on sale in stores from September 18.

However, Apple’s online store is now showing later delivery windows for customers who have not yet placed their orders.

iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max Delivery Date in India

On the Apple India online store, the iPhone 18 Pro is currently listed with an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6. The delay appears to apply across the available colour options and storage configurations.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max has an even later estimated delivery window. Apple currently lists October 6 to October 11 for the larger Pro model in India, with the estimate applying across its colour and storage variants.

This means customers ordering the iPhone 18 Pro Max now could potentially wait nearly a month after the September 18 retail launch to receive their device.

iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max Delivery Date in the US

The situation is similar in the US, where delivery estimates have also moved beyond the initial September 18 launch date.

The iPhone 18 Pro currently shows an estimated delivery window of September 29 to October 6, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is listed with a delivery estimate of October 6 to October 13.

As in India, these estimates cover the available colour and storage configurations.

iPhone 18 Pro Has Shorter Waiting Period

The smaller iPhone 18 Pro appears to have a relatively shorter waiting period compared with the iPhone 18 Pro Max in both India and the US. However, customers ordering the handset now could still receive it in October, depending on the final date within Apple's estimated delivery window.

The longer delivery timelines suggest that demand for Apple's latest Pro models may be outpacing the initial online stock available for immediate shipment.

Customers who want to get their iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max as close to the September 18 launch date as possible may therefore need to rely on early pre-orders or check availability at Apple Stores and authorised retailers.
