Xiaomi Pad 9, Pad 9 Pro Launched in China: Price, Specs
Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Pad 9 and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro in China as the latest additions to its tablet lineup. Both models feature 3.2K displays with up to a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness.
The standard Xiaomi Pad 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the higher-end Pad 9 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Both tablets run on Xiaomi HyperOS 4 and support several PC-class productivity applications.
Xiaomi Pad 9, Pad 9 Pro Price and Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 9 starts at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 42,800) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 47,000), while the top-end 12GB + 256GB version costs CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 54,000).
Xiaomi also offers an 8GB + 256GB Soft-Light Edition of the Pad 9 for CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 49,900).
The Xiaomi Pad 9 is available in Silver, Cloud Cedar Green, Black and Ice Peach Pink colour options.
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro starts at CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 54,000) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. The 8GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 4,099 (around Rs. 58,500), while the 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 4,599 (around Rs. 65,600) and CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 71,300), respectively.
The 12GB + 256GB Soft-Light Edition is priced at CNY 4,799 (approximately Rs. 68,400).
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro comes in Silver, Cloud Cedar Green and Black colourways.

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro features a large 12.5-inch display with a 3.2K resolution, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The 12GB and 16GB variants use LPDDR5T RAM with a speed of 9,600Mbps, while the 8GB model gets LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8,533Mbps. Storage options include UFS 3.1 for the 128GB model, while the higher-storage variants use faster UFS 4.1 storage.
The tablet packs an 11,000mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Xiaomi claims that the Pad 9 Pro can deliver up to 14.5 hours of short-video playback and up to 20 hours of online meetings.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The tablet is equipped with a 9,720mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
Xiaomi claims up to 14.5 hours of short-video playback and up to 20 hours of online meeting usage.
Software and AI Features
Both the Xiaomi Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro run Xiaomi HyperOS 4. The tablets support PC-class productivity applications, including WPS for Pad, Jianying Pro, PixelCake, ZWCAD and CAJ Reader.
The company has also equipped both tablets with its Super XiaoAI 2.0 AI assistant, bringing AI-powered features to the new tablet lineup.
