Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Launched in India With 6,000mAh Battery: Price, Specifications

 

Lava has launched the Virat V1 Pro 5G in India, expanding its newly introduced Virat smartphone lineup. The new model joins the Lava Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G in the company's budget-focused series. The handset comes with a Unisoc chipset, a 6,000mAh battery and a 120Hz display.

The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 15,999 in India for its sole configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Buyers can get up to a Rs. 2,000 bank discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 13,999.The smartphone will go on sale in India on August 31 at 12pm IST via Flipkart. It is available in two colour options: Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost.

Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Specifications and Features

The dual-SIM Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G runs Android 16 and features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a pixel density of 260ppi.Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

For photography, the Virat V1 Pro 5G gets a dual rear camera setup housed inside a square-shaped module. The primary camera is a 50-megapixel AI sensor with fixed focus, while details of the secondary rear sensor have not been disclosed. An 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C and GPS.The handset measures 168.29x77.64x8.68mm and weighs around 207 grams. Its sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
