Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Launched With 1.72-inch AMOLED Display, Up to 21 Days Battery Life

Xiaomi has launched the Smart Band 11 in China, its latest fitness-focused wearable, with a slimmer design, a brighter AMOLED display, upgraded health-tracking features and support for more than 150 workout modes. The company says the new smartband is its thinnest in the past 10 years.

Measuring 9.99mm in thickness and weighing 15.58 grams, the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is 9 percent thinner than its predecessor. It features an aluminium alloy middle frame with a matte sandblasted finish and comes with a quick-release strap mechanism.

The Smart Band 11 sports a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. It has 2mm ultra-narrow equal bezels and supports customisable DIY watch faces.

The wearable is designed for both everyday use and fitness tracking, with a range of health-monitoring features and workout modes.

Health and Fitness Features

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 uses a dual-lamp, dual-PD heart-rate sensor combined with Xiaomi's self-developed algorithm for continuous heart-rate monitoring and abnormal heart-rate alerts.

The smartband supports more than 150 workout modes, including running, cycling, swimming, yoga and boxing.

For runners, it offers 10 wrist-based running courses with heart-rate zones and vibration reminders. Its swimming mode supports real-time heart-rate monitoring, AI stroke recognition and 9-axis posture turn detection. Xiaomi claims lap-recording accuracy of up to 95 percent.

The device also has a 5ATM water-resistance rating and supports Bluetooth heart-rate broadcasting for compatible cycling computers.

HyperOS 4 and Smart Features

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 runs HyperOS 4, which introduces a dual-column system application layout and an integrated device centre.

The band can be used to control personal devices, compatible Mi Home products and supported car functions. Users can access features such as remote photography, device finding and earphone settings directly from the wearable.Compatible car controls include battery status, temperature, seat controls, seat heating and music playback. Mi Home automation scenarios are also supported.

The band can prioritise notifications from ride-hailing and food-delivery services. It also includes a Universal Page Turner for controlling short videos, novels and presentations.

Another addition is Game Mode, which can display game progress, respawn countdowns and heart-rate or emotion monitoring, along with support for sharing match summaries. Xiaomi says the feature supports more than 400 mainstream games, while game-progress display is currently available for Xiaomi 17 series models.

Additional features include custom vibration effects and third-party applications such as to-do lists, countdown timers and mini-games.

For Apple users, the Smart Band 11 supports synchronised notifications between an iPhone and Xiaomi phone, Apple Shortcuts and remote iPhone photography.

Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Battery Life

The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is rated to deliver up to 21 days of battery life in ultra-long mode. Battery endurance drops to up to 12 days in regular mode and up to 7 days when the always-on display (AOD) is enabled.
