Vivo Y600i Launched With 8,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2: Price, Specifications

 

Vivo Y600i has been launched in China as the latest addition to the company's mid-range Y series. The new smartphone comes with a large 8,000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, and a 120Hz LCD display.

The Vivo Y600i is offered in a single RAM and storage configuration and will be available in three colour options. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale in China next week through Vivo's official online store.

Vivo Y600i Price and Availability

The Vivo Y600i price in China has been set at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 29,000) for the sole 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

The smartphone will go on sale in China from September 30 through the Vivo China online store. It is available in Baby's Breath, Clear Blue, and Polar Night Black colour options, with the names translated from Chinese.There is currently no official confirmation regarding the phone's availability in other markets.

Vivo Y600i Specifications and Features

The Vivo Y600i is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. It features a 6.87-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,592 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.The display has a 19.9:9 aspect ratio, a claimed 90.91 percent screen-to-body ratio, support for 16.7 million colours, and 83 percent NTSC colour saturation.Vivo claims that the handset comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y600i is powered by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The processor features two performance cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores running at up to 1.95GHz. Graphics are handled by an Adreno 613 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with face unlock support.

Camera Features

For photography, the Vivo Y600i features a single 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, CMOS sensor, autofocus, and up to 10x digital zoom.On the front, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture and up to 2x digital zoom. The handset supports video recording at resolutions of up to 1080p.

Battery and Connectivity

One of the key highlights of the Vivo Y600i is its large 8,000mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C. It also supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS satellite positioning systems.The onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and an IR blaster.The Vivo Y600i measures 169.55 x 79.2 x 8.69mm and weighs approximately 229 grams.
