Oppo A7 Pro Launched With 8,000mAh Battery, 120Hz Display: Price, Specifications

Oppo A7 Pro has been launched in China as the latest addition to the company’s A series of smartphones. The new handset comes with a large 8,000mAh battery, a display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, and an IP69K-rated build designed to offer enhanced protection against dust and water.

The Oppo A7 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For photography, the smartphone features a 50-megapixel rear camera, while charging is handled by Oppo’s 45W SuperVOOC technology.

Oppo A7 Pro Price and Availability

The Oppo A7 Pro price in China starts at CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 31,000) for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The higher-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 35,000).

The smartphone is offered in three colour options: Desert Brown, Every Step Blossoms, and Riding the Waves. The latter two names are translated from Chinese.Oppo A7 Pro pre-orders are currently open in China, with sales scheduled to begin on September 11. There is currently no official confirmation regarding an India launch.

The dual-SIM Oppo A7 Pro runs ColorOS 16 and features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2,372×1,080 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz.The display offers up to 800 nits of typical global brightness, while peak brightness is rated at up to 1,400 nits.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.One of the key highlights of the Oppo A7 Pro is its rugged construction. The phone carries an IP69K rating, providing protection against dust and water.

For photography, the Oppo A7 Pro features a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and a 25mm equivalent focal length. The rear camera supports up to 10x digital zoom.For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.1 aperture and a 25mm equivalent focal length.
