Starting January 30, the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition will be available at Olympic Villages in six cities. The Samsung Open Station will be there to help athletes with things like device activation, data transfer, and technical support.
The Special Olympic Edition includes an edge-to-edge FlexWindow for easy one-handed use, which is especially useful for athletes during the Games. Key features include a dual rear camera system with a 50MP wide and a 12MP ultra-wide lens for high-quality images in various lighting conditions; Now Brief, which provides tailored daily updates, reminders, calendar events, and fitness summaries while integrating health data from select apps; Photo Assist, which uses AI to enhance images to studio-quality standards; and an on-device interpreter, which allows for real-time language translation and effective communication in remote locations.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition has a distinct design inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, as well as practical services to improve athlete experiences. Its unique blue rear glass reflects the style of the Milano Cortina 2026 event, symbolising Samsung‘s identity and the cultural significance of Italian azure. This colour represents togetherness and sportsmanship, which are important for the games. The device also features a custom gold frame, reflecting athletes’ quest for perfection and the brand’s commitment to peak performance. The phone is accompanied by a clear magnet cover with a circular blue magnet bordered with gold laurel leaves, which represents victory.
Each device for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics has custom winter sports-themed wallpaper that represents the interaction between skate blades and ice. It embodies the Olympic spirit. The Olympic Edition also contains a Dual Recording feature, which allows athletes to capture their views and reactions concurrently with both the rear and front cameras. This mode is easily available via the Camera app.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition has essential apps for athletes. It includes the Galaxy Athlete Card for profile sharing and community engagement, a free 100GB 5G eSIM card, and access to Samsung Wallet services, like the Coca-Cola Free Beverage Key. Athlete365 also offers performance and mental health support, as well as access to real-time Olympic news via Galaxy AI’s Now Brief. Other apps, including the official Olympic Games app, improve convenience and athlete performance, while a fitness app logs workouts and provides training tips in the Villages.
