Teasers from iQOO and Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO India, on their respective X accounts say that the iQOO 15R is scheduled to come out on February 24. You may buy the device on Amazon. The official teaser shows off the phone’s back design, which has a square-shaped module with rounded corners that houses a dual rear camera arrangement. This version is similar to the iQOO 15. The rear panel includes a checkered design and a grey finish that changes colours.
Under the model number Vivo I2508, the iQOO 15R has been discovered in a number of database listings, including Bluetooth SIG, Geekbench, and SIRIM. According to these postings, the smartphone is anticipated to have 8GB of RAM, an Android 16 operating system, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 CPU.
The phone is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive iQOO Z11 Turbo.
The iQOO Z11 Turbo was released in China, and the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs CNY 2,699 (which is equivalent to Rs 35,999).
A 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz is one of the things that are expected. The iQOO 15R might have an IP68 + IP69 designation for water and dust resistance. It might also include up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset is probably going to be there.
It should have a dual rear camera system with a 200-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera. The smartphone may also include a 7,600 mAh battery that enables 100 W wired fast charging.
