Vivo T5 5G Launched in India With 144Hz Curved AMOLED Display, 7,050mAh Battery

 

Vivo has launched the Vivo T5 5G in India as the latest addition to its T-series smartphone lineup. The new handset combines a large 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, and a massive 7,050mAh battery.The Vivo T5 5G will be available in India in two colour options and is scheduled to go on sale starting September 9 via Flipkart.

Vivo T5 5G Price in India and Availability

The Vivo T5 5G price in India starts at Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 39,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 44,999.The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage carries a price tag of Rs. 49,999.

Vivo is also offering an instant bank discount of up to Rs. 4,000 on select Axis Bank, SBI, and HDFC Bank card transactions. The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart from September 9.The Vivo T5 5G comes in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options.

Vivo T5 5G Specifications and Features

The Vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 2,800 x 1,260-pixel resolution. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage.The phone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset paired with the MediaTek NPU 850. It comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo claims the smartphone can achieve more than 12 lakh points on AnTuTu.

For photography, the Vivo T5 5G gets a dual-camera setup on the rear. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset supports video recording at up to 4K resolution.

One of the phone's biggest highlights is its 7,050mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging. Vivo claims the battery can provide around 22 hours of video streaming on a single charge.The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is promised three major OS upgrades along with five years of security updates. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, NavIC and other satellite navigation systems. The phone measures 164.42 x 75.25 x 7.99mm and weighs approximately 199 grams.
