Vivo X300 FE Gets New 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage Variant in India
Vivo has introduced a new 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo X300 FE in India, making it the new entry-level configuration of the flagship smartphone. The latest model joins the existing 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants.
The new variant arrives just a day after Vivo increased the prices of the existing Vivo X300 FE models by Rs. 10,000 in India, reportedly amid rising memory and storage component costs.
Vivo X300 FE Price in India and Availability
The Vivo X300 FE 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 84,999 in India. With its launch, the previously available 12GB + 256GB model is no longer the base variant and now costs Rs. 89,999 following the recent price hike.
Meanwhile, the top-end 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs. 99,999.
Vivo is offering several launch and purchase benefits, including an instant 10 percent bank discount with SBI, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank credit cards and UPI transactions. Buyers can also avail themselves of up to 24 months of interest-free EMI and a 10 percent additional exchange bonus.
The new Vivo X300 FE variant is available through Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India online store. It is offered in Lilac Purple, Noir Black, and Urban Olive colour options.
Vivo X300 FE Specifications and Features
The new 8GB + 256GB model retains the same specifications as the higher-storage variants. The smartphone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 1,216 x 2,640-pixel resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also supports a 300Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 460ppi pixel density, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm's 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Adreno 829 GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the Vivo X300 FE features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera, 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 50-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. It measures 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99mm and weighs approximately 191 grams.
