Redmi A7 spotted on NBTC certification, Could launch soon

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is soon adding a new budget smartphone to its popular 'A' series. The Redmi A7 was recently spotted on Thailand's NBTC certification website, hinting at an imminent launch. It's believed this phone could debut alongside the Redmi A7 Pro in global markets and India.

NBTC certification reveals model number
The upcoming Redmi A7 has been spotted on Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) website with model number 26020RNB4A. This listing confirms the phone's name. According to the certification, the phone will support GSM, WCDMA, and LTE networks, which essentially means it will be a 4G smartphone. This listing also reveals that the phone is being manufactured in China and its launch is now very near.

Great display and powerful processor:
If leaks and reports are to be believed, the Redmi A7 could feature a large 6.9-inch LCD panel, which will support HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Such a large display and high refresh rate could be a big attraction for users in the budget segment. For performance, it is said to be equipped with the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which could be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

It could be a rebranded version of the Poco C81 Pro.
There's a buzz in the tech world that the Redmi A7 could be a rebranded version of the Poco C81 Pro. This Poco phone was also recently spotted on NBTC with the model number 25128PC17G. Redmi has often shared its A series with Poco's C series, so there's a strong possibility that their specifications will be similar. This new phone will prove to be a major upgrade over the previous model, the Redmi A5.

6000mAh Battery and Other Features
The Redmi A7 could be quite powerful in terms of battery. It is expected to feature a massive 6000mAh battery, which should provide long-lasting backup. However, charging speeds are expected to be slightly lower at 15W. This phone will launch alongside the Redmi A7 Pro, which has already been spotted on several other certification websites, such as TDRA, FCC, and Indonesia's SDPPI. Both phones are expected to launch simultaneously in the global market.
