Infinix Smart 20 HD Launched in India With 120Hz Display and 5,000mAh Battery

Infinix Smart 20 HD has been launched in India as the latest addition to the company’s Smart 20 series. Positioned as an affordable smartphone, the new model combines a large 120Hz display with a 5,000mAh battery, stereo speakers and a slim 8.25mm design.

The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset and runs XOS 15.1 based on Android 15. It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel selfie camera and Infinix’s Ultra Link technology, which enables certain forms of offline communication without relying on a traditional mobile network.

The Infinix Smart 20 HD price in India is Rs. 10,999, including applicable offers, for the sole 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.

The smartphone is offered in three colour options: Sunlike Orange, Silver Dancer and Night Pulse. It is available through select retail stores and online channels, with the company also offering up to six months of no-cost EMI.The actual online selling price may vary depending on the retailer and ongoing offers.

Specifications and Features

The Infinix Smart 20 HD comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole display offering a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and can reach up to 700 nits of HBM brightness.The higher refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and animations compared with conventional 60Hz displays, making the phone better suited for everyday browsing, social media and video consumption.

Processor and Storage

Powering the smartphone is the Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Infinix also provides virtual RAM expansion of up to 6GB.

Storage can be expanded further using the phone's dedicated microSD card slot, giving users additional flexibility for storing photos, videos and apps.On the software front, the handset runs XOS 15.1 based on Android 15.

Camera

For photography, the Smart 20 HD features an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.The rear camera supports multiple shooting modes, including Super Night, Dual Video, Vlog, Documents, Pro, Panorama and Time-Lapse. It can also record videos at resolutions of up to 2K at 30fps.

Battery and Dual Speakers

The Infinix Smart 20 HD is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports charging at up to 15W. A 10W charging adapter is included in the box.

The smartphone also features dual speakers with Infinix's Ultra Volume Mode, which can boost the volume by up to 300 percent. DTS audio support is also included for an enhanced audio experience.

Ultra Link

One of the more interesting features of the Infinix Smart 20 HD is Ultra Link. The technology uses Bluetooth-based connectivity to enable communication between compatible devices without depending on conventional mobile network connectivity.According to Infinix, Ultra Link can be used for offline calls, messages, voice notes and image sharing over distances of up to 200 metres.

The handset also comes with three noise-cancellation modes, including Smart NC and Standard NC, along with Pure Voice technology designed to improve voice clarity during calls.

Design and Connectivity

Despite its large display and 5,000mAh battery, the Smart 20 HD measures just 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 189 grams.The device measures 165.62 x 77.01 x 8.25mm and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C.Infinix also claims that the phone has received a 48-month TÜV Fluency certification, based on the company's internal testing, aimed at maintaining smooth performance over an extended period.
