Realme 16x 5G India Launch Date Announced; Teased to Feature 7,000mAh Battery

Realme has officially announced the launch date of its new Realme 16x 5G smartphone in India. The company's new 5G smartphone will launch in the Indian market on August 12th at 12 noon. Ahead of the launch, Realme and Flipkart have also released a dedicated microsite, confirming the phone's design and several key features. With a large battery, high refresh rate display, and gaming features, this smartphone will enter the mid-range segment.

Realme 16x 5G will come in two color options.
According to the company's teaser, Realme 16x 5G will be offered in Endurance Brown and Glory White color options. A vertical camera module has been given at the back of the phone, which gives it a premium look. The biggest feature of Realme 16x 5G will be its big 7000mAh battery. According to the company, this battery will be able to provide backup of music playback up to 156.2 hours and gaming up to 9 hours on a single charge. Features like 45W fast charging, Bypass Charging and Reverse Charging will also be available in the phone, which will further improve the charging experience.

The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 14GB of RAM (including Dynamic RAM) and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will also include Realme's Flux Engine, which is said to deliver improved performance and a smooth user experience.

144Hz display and powerful gaming features
Realme 16x 5G will have a display with 144Hz refresh rate, whose peak brightness will be up to 1200 nits. For better thermal management, it will be provided with 5300mm² AirFlow Vapour Chamber Cooling System. For gaming enthusiasts, the company has also included its GT Boost Gaming Optimization Engine, which will improve gaming performance.

50MP AI Camera and many smart AI features
For photography, the phone will have a 50-megapixel AI rear camera. Along with this, AI features like AI Eraser, AI Ultra Clarity, Motion Photo and Dual-View Video Mode will also be provided, which will improve the photo and video experience. Realme 16x 5G will get IP65 dust and water resistance rating. Apart from this, the phone will come with MIL-STD-810 Military-Grade Shock Resistance, which will make it more durable in everyday use.

The Realme 16x 5G will be a successor to the Realme 15x, which was launched last year. The Realme 15x started at ₹16,999. Therefore, it's expected that the new model will be priced around this range, though the official price will be revealed on launch day.
