Nothing Phone (4b) with Glyph Bar and 6000mAh Battery launched in India

 

The Nothing Phone (4b) has launched in India today. It's Nothing's first 'B' series smartphone. The company has also introduced the Nothing Phone (4b) RCB Edition, which is currently available through a limited drop event at the Nothing Store in Bengaluru.

The new Nothing Phone 4b comes with a powerful battery, a new Glyph Bar interface, and a Snapdragon chipset. The company claims that this phone offers improved performance and long-term software support.

Nothing Phone (4b) price and availability in India
The Nothing Phone (4b) is priced starting at ₹34,999 in India. This price is for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top-of-the-line model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at ₹38,999. The company is also offering a 7.5% instant bank discount and exchange bonus on the phone.

The Nothing Phone 4b will go on sale in India starting July 14 via Flipkart and offline stores like Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales. The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue, and White color options.

The company has also introduced an RCB Edition of the Nothing Phone 4b. This special edition is currently available as part of a limited drop event at the Nothing Store in Bengaluru.

Nothing Phone (4b Specifications and Features
The Nothing Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch Full-HD+ Samsung Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display has a 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 480Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The phone runs on Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16. Nothing says the device will receive three years of OS updates and six years of security updates.

Snapdragon processor and 6000mAh battery
The Nothing Phone (4b) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, which is based on a 4nm process. It comes with Adreno 810 GPU, Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, and AI Engine support.

The phone features 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. To manage heat, it features a 4400 square mm vapor chamber cooling system. Powering the phone is a large 6000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging. According to the company, the phone fully charges in approximately 80 minutes.

Glyph Bar Interface and Camera Features
The Nothing Phone (4b) features a Glyph Bar Interface on the back panel, which includes 45 mini LEDs. It offers features like notifications, recording light, Glyph Timer, Live Updates, Volume Indicator, Glyph Torch, Camera Countdown, and NFC Indicator.

In terms of cameras, the phone features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera (with OIS and EIS support) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There's a 16MP selfie camera on the front. The phone supports video recording at up to 4K/30fps.

Connectivity and other features
The Nothing Phone (4b) supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, a USB Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS. For security, it has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. The phone weighs around 210 grams and is 8.6mm thick.
