Motorola on Wednesday launched its new foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, in India. This is the Lenovo-owned company's first book-style foldable smartphone, which was unveiled globally at the Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026) in March.
The phone features a large 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch cover screen. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and comes with up to 16GB of RAM. Additionally, the phone packs a large 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
Motorola Razr Fold price in India and availability
The Motorola Razr Fold starts at ₹1,49,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 16GB + 512GB variant costs ₹1,59,999, and the FIFA World Cup 26 Collection costs ₹1,69,999.
Launch offers include an instant bank discount or exchange bonus of up to ₹10,000. No-cost EMI options for up to 18 months are also available with select banks. Customers who purchase the phone by June 20th will receive a free screen replacement for one year.
Jio users will also get 3 months JioHotstar subscription on the ₹449 plan, 5000GB storage with Gemini Pro plan and other brand offers.
The phone is available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colour options and is available for purchase via Flipkart and select retail stores.
Motorola Razr Fold features and specifications
The Motorola Razr Fold comes with dual-SIM support and runs on My UX based on Android 16. The company is promising seven years of Android updates and security updates for this phone.
The phone features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate and 6000 nits of peak brightness. The inner display is an 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED panel with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 6200 nits of brightness, and Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) protection.
For performance, it has Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, Adreno A829 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Camera and Battery
For photography, the phone features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
For selfies, there's a 32MP camera on the cover screen and a 20MP camera on the inner display. The phone supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K recording at up to 60fps.
Battery and Connectivity
The Motorola Razr Fold packs a 6000mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with an IP49 rating.
The phone weighs 243 grams and measures 160.05×73.6×10.04mm when folded and 144.47×160.05×4.7mm when unfolded.
